§ 25.32. Same - Chlorination of new and repaired pipes.

- Every new water main and every repaired section of an existing water main must be cleared of coliform bacteria by the proper application of chlorine in sufficient quantities to give a minimum of fifty parts per million of available chlorine. The new or repaired pipe shall be thoroughly flushed before and after chlorination. After chlorination, water from new or repaired pipe sections shall meet the standards as set forth in section 25.30. (Ord. No. 793, § 3.05; Ord. No. 985, § Appx. A.)
