§ 13.74. Appeals.

  • (a) Any person aggrieved by the decision of the administering agency with respect to the issuance, denial, suspension or revocation of a permit, certificate of closure or variance pursuant to this article may appeal that decision to the City Council or its designee within thirty (30) calendar days from the notification of the issuance, denial, suspension or revocation of the permit, certificate of closure or variance. The appeal must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk. Following the filing of an appeal, the City Council or its designee must notify the appellant of a time and place for a hearing to review the appeal. Following the hearing, the City Council must notify the appellant of the decision in writing.
    (b) Failure to file a written appeal with the City Clerk within thirty (30) calendar days of said determination shall be deemed a waiver of the right to appeal.
