§ 7.27. Same - Hearing on objections.

  • At the time and place stated in the notice, the city council shall hear and consider any and all objections to the proposed abatement of the nuisance. The city council may continue the hearing from time to time. At the conclusion of the hearing or within a reasonable time thereafter, the city council shall render its decision as to whether a public nuisance exists. If it finds such a condition to exist, it shall overrule any or all objections and shall direct that the nuisance be abated. If it finds no such condition to exist, it shall sustain such objections.
    The decision of the city council shall be final and conclusive. (Ord. No. 1085, § 3, Ex. A.)
