§ 5.6. Amended or duplicate licenses.

  • No license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be transferable except as otherwise provided. When a license is issued authorizing a person to conduct a business at a particular place, such license may, upon application therefor and by paying the established license tax have the previously issued license amended so as to authorize the conduct of such business from some other location.
    Duplicate licenses may be issued by the city clerk to replace any previously issued license which has been lost or destroyed, upon applicant's filing an affidavit attesting to such fact.
