§ 19.21. Audible alarms similar to sirens prohibited.

  • It is unlawful to install on the exterior or interior of a building an intrusion detection device or burglar alarm system which upon activation emits a sound exceeding eight decibels (when measured from anywhere outside the premises), or which is similar to sirens in use on emergency vehicles or for civil defense purposes.
